One of Nigeria’s most skilled and gifted female gospel musicians is Temitope Monique. She writes songs and sings. With a significant amount of streaming and downloads on Gospelminds, several of Monique’s songs are becoming highly popular and trendy online.
Monique is from the Lagos State town of Ishaga. Simeon Adebisi Fabiyi and his wife gave birth to her. Her mother is a businesswoman, while her father is an engineer who also serves as the Osi Oba of Ishaga territory. Monique is the ninth and final child.
Temitope Monique Career:
At the age of six, Monique began her musical career as a lead choir member at Christ Miracle Church. From 1997 to 2000, she moved on to Abundant Life Church to carry on her musical ministry. She is the first lady of Spagetti Records.
She participated in the 1999 Gold-myne International “Circle of Stars competition,” where she won the grand prize. She is currently the music director of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) His Presence Assembly. She has recorded numerous singles for numerous organizations, including Kennis Music, Primetime Africa, and others.
